Our Kolektiv

We welcome applications from visual storytellers interested in joining our Kolektiv.

What does it mean to be an Ethnovision Kolektiv member? 
As a Kolektiv member you will have the ability to build relationships with a diverse community of international creators. You will have support from the Ethnovision team for feedback on projects, pitches, and questions/concerns about the industry. Ethnovision will identify you for client commissions ensuring that local stories are told by those, whose stories are theirs to tell, in ways that are not accessible to the lenses of Western photographers.
 
We expect our members to be empathetic and kind partners and have a will to participate in our community, this may involve joining monthly group discussions, exhibitions, publications, and other projects where relevant.

Application Requirements

• Your current CV and short biography (education, experience, clients you have worked with, and local languages you speak)

• Location

• Short statement of purpose including: short term and long term goals, motivation for joining and expectations from our partnership

• One (personal) visual project completed of 15 images or 6 examples of videography work sent by WeTransfer to hello@ethnovision.org

• One publication in any media form
